Which statement describes the proper action after a spin system change is approved?

Implement the change without notifying operators.

Update not only the hardware but also the user manual only.

Update procedures and obtain appropriate approvals before implementation.

In change management for spin systems, after a change has been approved, the next essential step is to update the procedures and obtain the necessary approvals before putting the change into effect. This ensures that every part of how the system is operated reflects the new configuration, including safe operating practices, step-by-step work instructions, alarms, and risk controls. It also preserves governance and traceability, with clear records of who approved the change and what must be done to implement it safely.

Implementing the change without notifying operators bypasses an important safety and readiness step; operators need to know the new procedures and any new hazards or interactions.

Updating hardware and the user manual alone omits the broader procedural changes, training, and formal approvals that ensure consistent, lawful, and safe deployment.

Canceling the change contradicts having approved it in the first place; once approval exists, the proper path is to implement with updated procedures and the required sign-offs.

Cancel the change.
